'Shogi' is Japanese Chess.
Notable differences from western chess are follwing two points.
1. If you kill enemy's units, you will get new units.
2. If your units invade enemy's zone, they can grow stronger.
The concept of this plug-in is based on 'Shogi'

Two maps (two teams) and Instruction (readme.html) is attached with this plug-in.


Important Note

1. Deathmatch setting MUST be ON.

2. If you play this plug-in alone, some feature and actions will not work.
3. Your king must be survived. If your king is dead, you will lose game whatever rule you play.


Feature of This Plug-in

1. If you kill enemy's units, you will get the same units (it means you will get new units).
2. Some units need item to use their special ability. Items also enhance their health.
3. Items are in enemy's zone. Enemy's items are in your zone.
4. Your king must be survived whatever rule you play on.
If king is survived when game is over, winner will be determined according to rule setting.
(e.g., when rule setting is Lastman on the Hill, actual rule is Lastman on the Hill or Assassin. Winning condition is to killI enemy's king or hold flag when game is over.)


Instruction

This plug-in has two maps. Both are two teams maps where players are divided into blue and red teams.
Some Units' names indicate which team you belong to. (e.g., If you have Blue Warrior, you belong to blue team.)

If you kill enemy's units, you will get the same units. These new units will appear beyond your starting zone where eights electric towers are placed. The new units have magic visiblity and enemy can't see them untill they attack or suffer damage. (Overhead map indicates their location and thus enemy can notice magic units are around there.)

Electric tower zone is very dangerous area. Electric towers are placed beyond battle field and will attack the units if they invade tower zone. Towers don't attack the new units in magic visibility.
(But even the new units in magic visibility can't invade enemy's tower zone. If they invade there, alarm sounds and magic visibility will be lost.)

The units whose name include 'Blue' or 'Red' has mana but can't use special ability at starting. These units need items to use their special ability.
Items are distinguished by blue and red and blue team needs blue item. Blue items are placed on red team's zone and red item on blue team's zone.
Checking the statue around items, you can know which item your unit needs.

When units get items, they lose magic visibility and status bar indicates they experienced ten levels and thus even oponent team can recognize which unit got item.


Units Instruction
Shogi Deathmatch

Blue Warrior Master, Red Warrior Master
Enhanced Warrior. Picking item results enhance of health and special ability (Confusion). Confusion doesn't work against King or Heron Guard Master.

Blue Bowman Master, Red Bowman Master
Enhanced Bowman Hero. Picking item results enhance of health and special ability (Stoning). Stoning is very effective against Trow but doesn't work against King, Soulbrighter or Heron Guard Master.

Blue Mortar Dwarf Master, Red Mortar Dwarf Master
Enhanced Mortar Dwarf Hero. Picking item results enhance of health and special ability (Paralysis Shell). Paralysis Shell is effective to search the units with magic visibility.

Blue Berserk Master, Red Berserk Master
Enhanced Berserk. Picking item results enhance of health and Lightning Sword. Lightning Sword adds Electric Explosion to normal attack by using mana.

Heron Guard Master
Enhanced Heron Guard Hero. He also can unheal Soulbrighter.

Trow
Normal Trow
Soulbrighter
He moves very quickly and a bit weaker than Trow. Arrow can't damage him but Healing is fatal.

King
He moves slowly but has plenty of health which can be recovered by healing.


Shogi Combat

Blue Myrikridia, Red Myrikridia
Initially normal Myrikridia. Picking item results enhance of health and special ability (Bomb Shell). Bomb Shell explode and put damage in wide area.

Blue Ghol Master, Red Ghol Master
Enhanced Ghol. Picking item results enhance of health and special ability (Healing)
Blue Poacher, Red Poacher
Peasant with gun. Picking item results enhance of health and special ability (Stoning).

Blue Shade, Red Shade
Picking item results enhance of health and special ability (Dispersal Dream).

Warlock Master
Enhanced Warlock. He has special ability of Confusion.
Trow
Normal TrowB
Soulbrighter
He moves very quickly and a bit weaker than Trow. Arrow can't damage him but Healing is fatal.

King
He moves slowly but has plenty of health which can be recovered by healing. He will pick a magic sword when game starts. This sword adds serious electric explosion to normal attack.

1. Pre-setting is avaiable in plan time.
2. When units get items, they lose magic visibility and status bar indicates they experienced ten levels and thus even oponent team can recognize which unit got item.
3. Dead unit won't drop any items.
4. Berserk's special attack was weakened.
5. Long range units were enhanced.
6. Units can't invade enemy's tower zone.
7. King can't invade both of tower zone.
8. Many parameters of monsters were a bit changed.
