A Quick UnitGuide

This is just a rough preview of what you have to expect.

NOTE: If you play on heroic, there will be some reinforcements for all teams after about 10 minutes. On legendary, there are more units.

Legend:

Affects morale: nearby troops get more motivated to fight while frightened enemies get weaker.

Animals are not effected by morale and cant be converted.

Undead: know no fear, cant be converted, immune to gas, wake fear, do not vet (they are dead, they cant learn anything)

Cant be Converted: not affected by necromancer binding dream.



Dwarves

Axe Fighter

Primary Attack: axe

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: slow, very restant due to heavy armor

Explosive Expert

Primary Attack: throw explosive bottle

Secondary Attack: stab or lay down satchel trap (limited)

Characteristic: slow, weak health

Golem

Primary Attack: punch & shatter

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: immune to fire, arrows and gas, fearless, cant be converted, affect morale

Mortar

Primary Attack: fire mortar round

Secondary Attack: club

Characteristic: slow, weak health


Elves

Archer

Primary Attack: fire arrow

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: yery accurate aim, weak health

Forest Giant

Primary Attack: punch & swat

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: very restant but great fire vulnerability, animal, affect morale

Guard

Primary Attack: sword & shield

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: quick fighter

Mage

Primary Attack: fire energy bolt (mana based)

Secondary Attack: heal (mana based)

Characteristic: weak health, cant be charmed

Wasp

Primary Attack: twinge

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: fast, float, very fast, deadly in groups, animal


Humans

Archer

Primary Attack: fire arrow

Secondary Attack: stab or fire arrow (limited)

Characteristic: weak health

Journeyman

Primary Attack: shovel

Secondary Attack: heal (limited)

Characteristic: restant, cant be charmed

Warrior

Primary Attack: sword

Secondary Attack: block projectiles with shield

Characteristic: -

Warrior Captain

Primary Attack: sword

Secondary Attack: block projectiles with shield

Characteristic: greatly improves the morale of surrounding troops

Warlock

Primary Attack: summon fireball (mana based)

Secondary Attack: summon ring of fire (mana based)

Characteristic: weak health, immune to fire, cant be charmed

Wizard

Primary Attack: summon ice (mana based)

Secondary Attack: summon snowstorm (mana based)

Characteristic: weak health, nearly immune to fire, cant be charmed


Goblins

Beastmaster

Primary Attack: sword

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: is needed to control a dracona

Crossbowman

Primary Attack: crossbow

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: very long fire range and deadly projectiles but long reloading time

Dracona

Primary Attack: claws

Secondary Attack: toxic breath (mana based)

Characteristic: frightens enemies, immune to gas, always stays close to his master, animal, go berzerg, uncontrollable if beastmaster dies

General

Primary Attack: glaive

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: affect morale

Shaman

Primary Attack: summon nebula ball (mana based)

Secondary Attack: summon toxic cloud (mana based)

Characteristic: weak health, faster mana recharge rate than warlock and wizard, cant be converted

Troop

Primary Attack: sword

Characteristic: -

Warg

Primary Attack: bite

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: great gas and fire vulnerability, animal, go berzerg when seriously wounded


Undead

Dwarven Ghost

Primary Attack: fire mortar round

Secondary Attack: club

Characteristic: slow, weak health, walk on the surface of water, undead

Fetch

Primary Attack: lightning strike

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: weak health, slow, knows no fear, cant be converted

Necromancer

Primary Attack: sword

Secondary Attack: binding deam (mana based) (animals, undead and magicians/magic critters cant be converted)

Characteristic: float, fearles, causes fear, nearly immune to gas, great fire vulnerability, cant be converted

Skeletton

Primary Attack: scythe

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: great fire and explosive vulnerability, nearly immune to arrows, undead

Souless

Primary Attack: spear

Secondary Attack: melee spear attack

Characteristic: float, great fire and explosive vulnerability, undead

Summoned Knight

Primary Attack: axe

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: great explosive vulnerability, immune to fire and arrows, undead, will die immediately if necromancer dies

Thrall

Primary Attack: axe

Secondary Attack: -

Characteristic: slow, undead
