Warhammer 40K:Heretic.units v1.0

This plugin is required to play on 40k-Heretic.mapset#1-1.0. Instructions for use are found in the readme that should have come with the map plugin. Look at the end of this massive read me for information on using this plug-in in new creations you wish to make. Anyhow, I released this as a two part plug-in because I plan for more maps to be made to ad on. Check out www.contagiousgraphics.com/heretic/heretic.html for any new information.

Specifically all the grenades and the Barrel used in steal the bacon, ball on parade and such.

A BIG thanks to VODI for making Amber2!

An INCREDIBLY, MASSIVE, HUGE, thanks to Cecelia (my fiancˇ) for putting up with me ignoring her and spending lots of time on the computer to make this thing.

Also thanks to all the play testers who helped work out the chaos bugs out of the game.

Instructions

Tactical Space Marine-The backbone of the army. Each Marine is armed with a Bolter and Frag grenade (Standard issue area effect fragmentation explosive). Tact. Marines can use Inferno grenades if available (These grenades were developed around the Horus Heresy time, though later phased out of use because of the large chance of accidental detonation).
Game Use: When you click on a target the Tact. Marine will fire his Bolter at it. If you press the "T"/special item button he will throw the Frag grenade or an Inferno grenade (if one is picked up).

Assault Space Marine-Quick veteran marines that are vicious in close combat. They move at a quick pace to swarm the enemy and take key positions. Each Assault Marine is armed with a Chainsword, Bolt pistol and Frag grenade (Standard issue area effect fragmentation explosive). Assault Marines can use Inferno grenades if available (These grenades were developed around the Horus Heresy time, though later phased out of use because of the large chance of accidental detonation).
Game Use: When you click on a target the Assault Marine will charge into Hand to Hand with his Chainsword. If you press the "T"/special item button he will either fire his Bolt pistol if further out (or doesn't have a grenade) or throw a grenade if within range.

Scout Space Marine-Scouts are for recon/information and sniper missions. They are armed with a Sniper rifle (using paralysis toxin) and Frag grenade (Standard issue area effect fragmentation explosive). Scout Marines can use Inferno grenades if available (These grenades were developed around the Horus Heresy time, though later phased out of use because of the large chance of accidental detonation).
Game Use: When you click on a target the Scout Marine will fire his Sniper rifle. If you press the "T"/special item button he will throw the Frag grenade or an Inferno grenade (if one is picked up).
The Scout Marine also carries special Camoline cloaking equipment. This prevents him from showing up on the enemies overhead map.

Plasma Gun Space Marine-Close range heavy support. The Marine is armed with a Mark I Plasma gun.
Game Use: When you click on a target the Plasma Gun Space Marine will fire his Plasma Gun. The Plasma Gun is a close range area effect weapon. Though with the Mk I he must wait for it to recharge before he can fire again.

Missile Launcher Space Marine-Long range support for Space Marines. Firing Frag missiles and a limited supply of Inferno missiles (Inferno missiles were developed around the Horus Heresy time, firing explosive warheads that saturated the area with flame. Later Inferno missiles were replaced by Plasma missiles).
Game Use: When you click on a target the Missile Laucnher Space Marine will fire his Missile Launcher. The Missile Launcher is a long range area effect weapon. Though, after each shot you must wait for the Marine to reload another missile.

(And now pulled straight from Hexogrphica's mouth, they just put it in such nice words)

I have worked hard to create these fun and/or (we hope and) cool creations. I am currently allowing others to use these tags (for those who would steal them, remember that they are copyrighted works) on a few conditions:

1. The tags may not be edited from their current states without express and specific permission. If you want to edit them, send an email asking if you may edit them, and stating specifically what you want to do with them. I will evaluate these on a case-by-case basis.

2. All maps using these tags must use them from the 40k-Heretic.units plugin. That is to say, said map will require the 40k-Heretic.units plugin to function, and the collections, mons tags, etc., should not be found on the map you have made. Obviously those with specific permissions to edit tags are exempt from this. We will also consider specific exemptions for other reasons.

3. I also requires that all maps that would use any original material be tested by myself before release, and must be approved by wraeththu (me) before release. Simply put, this is to keep people from making maps that do not fit in with my vision of how these tags should work, and to keep the tags from being cheapened by repeated use on obviously bad/buggy maps.

4. I (wraeththu) and Craig Goodman (Santa's Head-for his WWII:Recon bits used: see above) must be given credit for any work of ours that is used in a map. Usually this would be done in a readme file (where you should also give credit to Bungie, as per their requirements). I will not allow those who do not give proper credit (to us, to Bungie, and to anyone else whose work was included) to use my creations.

You can reach me at wraeththu@earthlink.net to inquire further, to send me a map (bigger maps may require special preparations), or to as any other question that may cross your mind.
